2. Repeal of N.R.CD. 129

LONG TITLE

AN ACT to amend the Electoral Commission Act, 1993 (Act 451) to provide for the function, 9f the Electoral Commission in respect of voter identity cards.

ACT

====1. Act 451 amended The Electoral Commission Act, 1993 (Act451) is amended as follows:

(a) in section 2 by the substitution for paragraph (c) of the following:

"(d) to undertake the preparation of voter identity cards";

(b) in section 12 subsection (1), by the substitution for paragraph (c) of the following:

"(c) the issue of voter identity cards;"

2. Repeal of N.R.CD. 129

2. The Identity Cards Decree, 1972 (N.R.C.D. 129) is hereby repealed.
